LASER COMPONENTS has developed an ultrathin LTO detector (Lithium Tantalate - LiTaO3) design that minimizes noise while increasing responsivity by four times using sub-pixel binning. The LTO infrared detectors operate well within room temperature with no depoling concerns and require no temperature stabilization, typical for DLaTGS detectors. These pyroelectric detectors operate within single channel voltage mode without the need for cooling.

Emerald™ Gen2 is a new CMOS image sensor family that is available in 8.9-Megapixels (4,096 x 2,160) or 12-Megapixels (4,096 x 3,072), in monochrome or color, and in two-speed grades, standard and high. The high-speed models provide superior performance for demanding applications that require sharp images at very high speeds, such as food sorting, inspection, and Intelligent Traffic Systems.
Large Spatial Resolution Snapshot Multispectral Camera for the SWIR spectral range
- Details
- Published on 07 February 2024
The CICADA Multispectral camera is specially designed to allow high integration of SWIR multispectral systems. The CICADA stands out for its high raw spatial resolution (1.3MP). This lightweight (70g) and very small footprint (34x38x35mm) camera splits the image into 9 spectral bands on the SWIR range (1100-1700nm). Made by hybridization of a custom Bayer-like mosaic filter on a commercial InGaAs Sensor, it allows extracting the spectrum on each point of the image.
Low Vπ LiNbO3 phase-modulator for high-power laser applications
- Details
- Published on 06 February 2024
Exail launches a new low Vπ LiNbO3 phase-modulator, designed for high-power laser applications. This new modulator, dedicated for Coherent Beam Combination (CBC) and Spectral Beam Combination (SBC), offers stability over time, temperature and vibration, while minimizing power consumption thanks to its ultra-low Vπ (up to 16 GHz). Specifically designed to handle up to 300 mW optical input at 1060 nm, this modulator is ideally suited for high-power lasers generation.

Compact single-shot CEP-meter
- Details
- Published on 24 October 2023
Madeira (UltraFast Innovations) is a single-shot phasemeter that facilitates single-shot measurements of the carrier-envelope-phase (CEP) of few-cycle femtosecond laser pulses. The ability to characterize the CEP of few-cycle pulses is the backbone of attosecond metrology and key to achieving sub-cycle temporal resolution in a broad range of ultrafast laser applications.
