mu-Imagine, a division of Imagine Optic dedicated to adaptive optics for microscopy, announces the release of mu-DM.
mu-DM is a versatile deformable mirror optimized for microscopy and ophthalmology. It can be used in open-loop or, when combined with a wavefront analyzer, in closed-loop configurations. Featuring, among other things, a high density of actuators, perfect linearity, great dynamic range, and fully embedded electronics, mu-DM significantly enhances contrast and resolution when imaging biological objects by correcting aberrations and/or shaping the Point Spread Function (PSF).
